    This clip is from one of my favorite Filipino movies, La Visa Loca starring Robin Padilla, Ruffa Mae Quinto and a favorite veteran actor, Johnny Delgado. Johnny played the role of Jess’ father, Mang Sancho. If you still haven’t watched this film then you should find a copy and watch it, now. It’s a very Filipino comedy film, it shows so much of our Filipino culture.

    Watch the clip from 0:00 to 2:00, its when Mang Sancho (Johnny Delgado) phone called a radio station and then argued with the radio host about vagina, penis and the Filipino language. LOL

    RIP, Johnny Delgado.

    Perya (Town Fair) - a Canon 7D Short by Jason Magbanua

    Canon Philippines lent us a pre-production model of the 7d. We got it Tuesday 6pm and had to return it the following Thursday at noon.

    We wanted to document something truly Filipino and came up with the idea of shooting a “Perya”. There really is no direct equivalent in English. It’s not as grand as a carnival, not as permanent and posh as an amusement park, there are no pumpkins nor cows in competition like a country fair. It is what it is - a Perya.
